What makes EZ-HE "So Different" from ALL the other Home Improvement services?

 

Some services/websites provide Customer Ratings/Reviews from only their company/website, along with a Contractors information.  Other services/websites ask customers to take their own measurements, pics, details, etc.   While these services may be helpful in providing a contractor(s) contact info..... Customers still have to go through the time consuming process of making multiple calls, set multiple appointments, make schedule changes to rush home and meet with multiple contractors.

The EZ-HE process includes the personal service of having our EZ-Reps. meet with customers to discuss their project, view project area, while documenting all project details.  After the one meeting with an EZ-Rep., customers receive an email from EZ-HE with up to five (5) estimates, typically within 3 - 7 business days.... It's that simple!

Is EZhomeEstimates a Home Improvement Company?

EZ-HE is not a Home Improvement Company.  EZ-HE is an independent company that provides a new, unbiased estimating service that uniquely benefits both the consumer and the professional contractor.  

How does EZ-HE work?

EZ-HE collects and then safely stores all the necessary data for a customer's home project.   Project information (No personal Info) is organized, then "Opened" to contractors to view, analyze and estimate.  EZ-HE then emails all estimates (Up to 5) to customer for review.

How much does it cost?

 

1.  Nothing. EZ-HE's Estimating service is completely free for consumers.

2.  EZ-HE is completely free for anyone looking to renovate and find a general contractor. We receive a small commission from Sweeten experts on any project awarded to them on our site.

How much does EZ-HE's service cost?

 

EZ-HE's Estimating service is FREE for consumers.  Contractors pay a small commission to EZ-HE for all jobs awarded to them.

Does an EZ-HE rep need to survey my project area(s) every time I need work performed?

 

No, that is the beauty of what EZ-HE does. For example, if a customer submits a request for a bathroom remodel but also knows they plan to replace their windows in the next 3-5 years, the EZ-HE rep can document all of those specifications when on site and safely store it in the EZ-HE database. When the time comes to move forward with the window replacement project, the customer can simply request a quote. There is no need to make another appointment for an EZ-HE rep to come to your home and you can have quotes from multiple contractors within days.

Can I choose more than one Contractor to meet with before making my final decision?

 

Yes.  There are times when a customer finds it difficult to choose between two or more contractors/estimates, therefore meeting with each individual contractor becomes the deciding factor.  

How do I become an EZ-HE customer/member?

 

Customers must book an appointment and register their home improvement project(s) first.  Once project registration is completed, an account is established and a temporary password is sent via email.

What type of projects can I use EZ-HE services for, is there a budget minimum?

 

At this time, EZ-HE estimating services are used for larger (Non-Handyman) type projects that generally has a budget minimum of at least $1,500.  For a list of eligible projects... Click Here!

Will you be managing the contractor throughout the project?

 

No, EZ-HE is a service company that surveys and stores the details of your home improvement project and affords the customer the convenience of receiving multiple quotes with only one EZ-HE appointment. EZ-HE will receive the quotes from the contractors, compile them and share them with the customer. Once the Customer receives the quotes from EZ-HE and selects a Contractor it then becomes a Customer/Contractor relationship for the life of the project.

Does EZ-HE plan on offering Handyman services in the near future?

 

Yes!  EZ-HE will be offering "Handyman" services in the near future.

What types of service professionals can use with EZ-HE?

Anyone. EZ-HE works with all kinds of professionals—designers, plumbers, painters, and electricians, just to name a few. You can also tell any of your favorite previously hired providers about EZ-HE so you can use it to show them what you need the next time you require their services.

No, your personal contact information is provided during the bidding/estimating process.  Once customers review estimates, verify contractor referrals and/or reviews, ratings they can select to meet with one or more Contractors in person or virtual.

Who are the Professionals in EZ-HE's Pro-Network that I will be potentially connecting with?

 

Simply put, the best professionals in your area. EZ-HE works with all kinds of pros—handymen, masons, movers, decorators, and installers, just to name a few.

EZ-HE has done the research for you.  Only the best professionals in your area with the highest customer satisfaction ratings have been carefully selected to be a part of the EZ-HE Pro Network.  As new professionals join our network they are continuously monitored to ensure that their customer satisfaction and level of professionalism aligns with the standard of excellence and culture we promote here at EZ-HE.

Not a problem, as soon as he/she registers their company using our website or mobile app, your project "Bid Package" will be emailed to estimate.

Not a problem.  Just direct them to the Join Pro-Network page of our website or free mobile app.  As soon as they register their company, your project "Bid Package" will be emailed to estimate.  

How long will I have to wait before someone contacts me?

Factors, such as requesting specific dates, and/or contractors can effect wait time.  Generally, estimates are emailed to customers anywhere from three(3) to seven(7) business days.  Factors, such as requesting specific dates in a narrow range, availability in specified area and/or job type, time of year, etc., can extend waiting times.

No, it’s your choice. EZ-HE helps you get in touch with pros quickly and easily. By sharing your needs with a recorded or real-time video these capabilities help to get all the information and feedback you need to decide who’s the best fit for you. Ultimately nothing is binding until you hit the “Book” button and book a pro.

What if I need to cancel?

As long as you cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of the start date written in the quote agreed upon between you and your pro you will receive a full refund. If cancellation happens less than 24 hours from the start date there is a 10% cancellation fee calculated from the total cost of the project. THIS SEEMS LIKE IT IS FOR A CUSTOMER CANCELLING ON A PRO.  I THINK WE SHOULD ELIMINATE THIS ONE OR REWORD IT SO IT APPLIES TO A CUSTOMER CANCELLING AN APPOINTMENT WITH AN EZ REP.  WHAT DO YOU THINK?

My pro never showed up, now what?

We have a very serious “No-Show” policy, should something like this occur with a pro we subtract a penalty from their account and refund your money. See our Cancellation Policy page for more information.

SIMILAR SCENARIO HERE.  I THINK THIS APPLIES TO THE CUSTOMER AND CONTRACTOR AND WE SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED.  IF WE DON'T SIMPLY ELIMINATE THIS QUESTION THEN MAYBE WE REWORD THIS TO APPLY TO A SCENARIO WHERE A CUSTOMER CANCELS WITH A PRO BECAUSE THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND AFTER MEETING THEM AND WOULD LIKE TO SELECT THEIR 2ND CHOICE OR RESUBMIT THE JOB FOR ADDITIONAL QUOTES FROM MORE PROS.
